The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) came fully into force on 1st January 2005. The Act will give the public the right of access to all types of recorded information held by a public authority.
If you wish to obtain any information from Brandon & Byshottles Parish Council you should at first check whether or not it is contained in the Parish Council’s Publication Scheme.
If you cannot find the information through the Publication Scheme, you can then make a request under the FOI Act. Requests must be in writing with a name and address supplied. All requests will be dealt with within 20 working days.
